Card of the Day – Queen of Wands

28 Apr

This is quite interesting to me. The same card two days in a row. Queen of Wands. I was prepared to update on yesterday’s card and note that I couldn’t get what it meant. I was really irritated yesterday morning. The dog was barking, my partner was on the phone speaking really loud. I was going to give up finding out what the Queen meant. Well, here she is again. I guess it’s a continuation of what started going on yesterday.

Another good look to see if there’s anything else that I didn’t catch yesterday. There’s a patch of grey in the background. It could be the desert, but looks more like low hill to me today. Also the wand she holds is made of clear crystal. Everything is crystal clear?

Card of the Day – Queen of Wands

27 Apr

Another Wands card, but a different one! Queen of Wands. One thing that’s really striking to me is the sunflower growing in the middle of the desert. Life in the dry land. It’s a pleasant sight. Maybe a ray of hope when things are tough. And sunflower is cheerful and sunny! The queen’s left hand is extended out with the palm facing down. It seems to me like she is blessing others with this gesture. A black cat is emerging from behind her, stretching. According to Robing Wood, the cat represents the sensuality of the queen. But this morning I see the cat as mischief. Maybe a little price to pay for the queen’s generosity.

Oh, The Fool jumped out during shuffling today. A new adventure into the unknown. Oooooo!

Card of the Day – Ten of Wands Reversed

26 Apr

Well, it’s not surprising that it’s Wands again. Ten of Wands. This morning is not a good morning so I am not going to get into details. This card has appeared a few times recently anyway. I think it means putting down the burden and taking a deep breath. Maybe to get a better look around.

Update, 04.27.2006, 8:49 am, not much work done yesterday. Kind of took it easy.

Card of the Day – The World

25 Apr

I am so happy to get The World, the card of completion, today. It’s like a breath of fresh air. I hope this means things coming to a conclusion. It’s a major card. Usually this means that it’s already in motion that not much can change it. The card shows a woman leaping through a wreath of flowers and fruits. It’s like she just crossed the finishing line with a joyous leap. She holds two wands, one in each hand, showing that she has balance and mastery. I am more drawn to the fruits on the wreath. Hopefully that means fruition, results, harvest. I also see the red ribbons on the top and bottom of the wreath, forming two signs of infinity. Red stands for courage and passion. Signs of infinity, well, infinite possibilities? Are we finally going to the moon? :-) Stars of hope show on the card but not the moon. Maybe she is already on the moon? I am also drawn to the snowy mountains and clouds on the top of the card. They represent the elements of earth and air. I’d like to think that it means reaching the highest top, sky is the limit. I hope today is the day for good news! Yay! I need it. I woke up really grouchy.

Update, 04.26.2006, 9:44 am, received several updates from our CEO yesterday and this morning. All positive news. It seems that our funding effort is at its last stage and can be completed at any moment. Being a Virgo, I just like to have it actualized before I feel comfortable. Maybe it’s just me. Maybe I’m not seeing the Moon that I am on.

One funny thing. He used the words like “one gating item” and “hurdles”, which brings to mind the images on The World. Leaping through. I hope.

Card of the Day – Eight of Wands Reversed

24 Apr

I guess because the Eight of Wands from last Saturday has been on my mind constantly, it decided to appear again to slow me down a bit. As I indicated, it is in its reversed position. The first thing I see is the Earth. Still earthbound, not taking off, not reaching the moon yet. I am also drawn to the green wand. Green represents growth. The decoration on the body of the wand isn’t very clear. Maybe this wand is saying the growth is slowed, things still unclear. The reversed Eight of Wands feels like slowed or stopped progress.

I guess I won’t hear the news that I’ve been anticipating to get today. :-( The Wands are still prominent. My main concern at this point of my life is still my career.

Observation, 10:21 am, the day already started with a “can’t take off” situation. Blogger’s publishing capability was down!

Update, 04.25.2006, 9:04 am, no news!
