Another familiar card, Two of Swords. This time I was immediately attracted to the swords. More specifically, the light reflected on the swords. It is the light from the moon. The swords represent two difficult choices that weigh on the mind. The moon represents mystery and intuition. With the moonlight shining on them, maybe the solution is deep within that requires intuition. And the moon is the new moon (just like yesterday). In Robin’s book she explains that new moon represents a new phase, beginning of a cycle.
In its reversed position I feel that a difficult choice will be made. The blindfold will be off. The end of a phase. A chapter comes to a conclusion. I wonder what it is.
Update, 04.07.2006, 8:29 am, well, all day long yesterday I couldn’t figure out what the card pointed to. I thought it could be this or it could be that. But I was pushing to make situations fit the meaning of the card. Lying in bed at night I was still reflecting on the events of the day. Then it dawned on me. It was something that my partner mentioned on the phone when he was up in the Silicon Valley. Our CEO had asked him AGAIN to move up north to be close to the main office. This can be a very difficult situation. But I truly feel that it’s the right thing to do. Difficult because we have family and friends here. My family will definitely not like the idea. Also, lots of our customers are in this area. It’s also going to be difficult because his church and my temple are very important to us.
It’s right because we’ll be more involved in daily business operations. It is also good because we are just getting too tired of living where we are now. People are so fake here. Well, these are just the things that we will have to figure out in the coming months. My feeling is that it’s a good move.
