Card of the Day - Seven of Wands

Misc. No Comments »

Here’s something different! Seven of Wands. What attracted me first on this card were the determination on the man’s expression and the mist behind him. He is determined to defend what he believes. He has the advantage of standing on the higher ground. The mist can signify the search for clarity. When you break through the mist, everything is clear, everything is as it should be without any more mystery. And he is willing to stand ground against anything that wants to take him on the wrong path.

The opposing wands (six of them) seem to be lifeless, motionless. I’m not sure if there’s a significance in that. We’ll see how the day develops.

Update, 04.10.2006, 2:48 pm, when I draw a card on Sunday, it’s usually about spiritual activities because it’s a day at the temple. I wonder if this card was about inner struggles. Can the opposing six wands be the five physical senses plus the ordinary mind?
