Card of the Day - Four of Wands Reversed

Misc. No Comments »

The Wands are back. It’s another day of feeling a lack of enthusiasm to read the cards. I think I have been too self-conscious to let information flow to me. First a quick mention. I had a rough time shuffling cards this morning. They were flying out everywhere. Eight of Swords was the first one and it did catch my eyes. Especially the blue sword on the card. OK, the Four of Wands. It is a card of celebration. A period of rest and harmony after successful work. In reversed position it can mean dealyed success, work not done yet. I was drawn to the color of the sky. It looks hazy, looking kind of smoggy. Not very cheery at all. The two crystals on top of the front two wands also caught my attention right away. One is green and the other red. They reprsent a balancing of opposite energies, harmony. In the background you can see the evidence of successful harvest (Robin Wood deck), representing rewards from hard work. Since all these are in reversed position, I think it means delay in completing projects, lack of focus (haziness), lack of balance. No rest for the weary?

Observation, 04.14.2006, 7:54 am, most of what the card indicated were true. Yesterday was definitely a hazy day. It was also very warm weatherwise. First warm day that we had for a very long time. I couldn’t even stay up to knit the socks. I was asleep before 9 pm. That was a first! Wow. I also had the morning blues for two days. I don’t know why.
