The Fool takes on a new adventure with spontaneity. Carefree. Not a lot of planning. Not a lot of foresight. His companion, a little dog, warns him of the dangers ahead. It’s a new beginning. Anything can happen.
In the reversed position, there maybe a fear of starting something new. Fear of taking that first step. Will that new adventure bring a positive future?
I haven’t felt like that I am connected with the cards since coming back to them. Maybe I’ve been too tired? Maybe I haven’t paid enough attention? I don’t know. We’ll see.
Queen of Cups. This is a familiar card. The veiled cup that she’s holding stands out for me. Even though it is veiled, but the light shines through the fabric. She is the one that can reveal the knowledge within. Everyone else seems to be waiting to hear what she gleans from the cup.
Now, here’s a card that rarely comes up in recent readings. Six of Cups represents memory of the past. Good old days. What stands out is the lilies that are everywhere in the cards, which respires purity and innocence. The whole scene has a faery tale quality to it. Maybe the memory is not as true to the past?
In the reversed position it is said to represent not letting go of the past. Uh oh. Old memories coming back to haunt me. What could it be?
In the upright position, this Queen is a decisive, sharp minded person who had moved through difficult times and came out victorious. Maybe in the reversed position it is a person that’s judgmental, headstrong, sharp tongued, can’t move beyond issues?
Back at the cards! It’s been more than a month since I last took the cards out. I was thinking that I was going to take a few days off and get back right on it. But you know how it is. You keep saying I’ll start tomorrow day after day. All of a sudden a month’s passed. Wow!
First card I get after a long hiatus is… Ten of Wands! Oh, are we doing this again? Are we still doing Wands? LOL This is a little surprising because I am not seeing a lot of work for me today. I have finished our new music website design. Transferred our hardware site to a dedicated server. What else? Maybe I’ll soon find out. Or maybe they are personal projects? In the card the shadow is long in front of the person carrying wands. Maybe the sun is setting and he needs to find his way home soon. Hmmm…
Note, 8:59 am, I have just realized something. My partner has been gone for a few days (coming home today.) And I have been trying to do so many things that are a little harder to do when he’s around. You know, things that are not done together. Things that only I like doing. No, nothing naughty. 
Anyway, I have not been sleeping much, trying to do as much as I could. Maybe I need a good rest.
