King of Cups. His passion is like gentle waves lapping at the shore. In this case, it is lapping at the rock foundation of his stone lotus throne. He’s mature, more balanced than the knight. He shows his passion, but not like the knight’s crashing waves. He’s in touch and in complete control of his emotions. Not forceful kind of control, but like the lotus rising above the mud, pure and clear. He’s been through it and is above it’s turbulence, and able to keep them in check. He sees their tricks. He knows better.
As for the reversed meaning. Continuing from yesterday’s knight, I feel that the emotional turbulence moved from being seen to unseen. It’s not gone, but hiding underneath the surface. The calm maybe just a front.
As it turned out that my partner was having a tough time emotionally yesterday. Today he seems fine. Maybe not really? I am also moody. The situation that The Moon revealed is still to be resolved.
