Card of the Day - Nine of Wands Reversed

Reversed, Wands No Comments »

Yet another reversed card. Nine of Wands. It shows a man leaning on a wand with a clear crystal on the top end. He’s been through battles which wounded him, but also prepared him for what’s to come. Clear crsystal represents clarity. He knows. Eight more wands form a wall that protects him from the gloomy sky. Each has a different crystal on it, showing the different tools that he has, ready to be used for defense. Even though he knows that there are more battles to come, he’s on top of things. It’s a waiting period before the storm. He well-prepared.

Since I was especially drawn to the clear crstal wand that he’s leaning on, the reversed probably means a loss of clarity in the situation. Defenses down. Ill-prepared? Ugh! I don’t like the sound of that.

Note: 12.18.2006, 12:49pm. I am missing a document that I need this afternoon. Well, it’s purpose is to save about $60. It shouldn’t cause any trouble or delay. But I just get nervous when I feel like I am missing something.

(Major arcana images grabbed from this Wikipedia page, minor arcana images from this page. I use Robin Wood Tarot which has different imagery. This is just to give you an idea of the card.)
