Card of the Day - Six of Wands Reversed

Reversed, Wands No Comments »

Hey! Another Wands card. Surprise, surprise! :-)
Six of Wands is a card of victory, success and recognition. In the reversed position it can mean not winning, not getting recognized for one’s work. But because The Sun appears on the card, it maybe just a delay in the victory. The Sun’s energy is powerful and can still have positive influence when reversed. I noticed that there’s no saddle on the hero’s horse. He has total control, making the saddle unnecessary. In reversed position I think there’s lack of control. Making it a bumpy ride without a saddle.

I wonder if I will hear some kind of news today. Not anything that I am not expecting, I think.

Card of the Day - Nine of Swords Reversed

Nightmare is over. Nine of Swords represents stress that’s powerful enough to make one have nightmares at night. With it reversed, the energy of the stress is lessening, going away. (That would be so good.) I am drawn to the moon on the comforter that covers the person sitting up in bed in the picture. It’s a new moon in a clear sky. (Thinking of The Moon in the weekly reading.) It’s moving toward the full moon phase. Confusion will be cleared. Mystery will be unveiled.

Note, 1.26.2007, 4:54pm, this has to do with news that everyone at work has been waiting to hear. We had an agreement for funds to come in. Everyone can breath a sigh of relief.

Bye Bye Weekly Reviews!

Well, that didn’t last long. I think weekly reviews are not going to work for me. It’s better for me to do updates day to day to keep the info fresh. If I do one weekly, I start procrastinate until I don’t feel like recalling the details of events.

Card of the Day - Three of Cups

How interesting. What can this mean today? Out of the three dancers on the Three of Cups, the “present moment” stands out more for me today. She represents courage and growth. She holds hands with the “past” because that’s how she ends up being “in the moment”. Three of Cups is a celebration of good work done. Work is done and you can afford to have a little fun. Emotional fulfillment.

Note, 1.24.2007, 11:56am, I made a mistake yesterday. The dancer of “the present” wasn’t holding hands with “the past”. It was “the future”. If I paid attention to the phases of the moon on each dancer’s cup, I wouldn’t had made that mistake.

Note, 1.26.2007, 4:44pm, this is another confusing one. Gosh, I should’ve done this note earlier. One thing that stood out in the memory was that I checked the book after a while and found that Three of Cups could also represent renewal of health. That sort of clicked at that moment. Looking back, I felt great that day. I thought I completely recovered from whatever illness I caught on Sunday. It returned the next day, but I truly had a great day on Tuesday. I did a lot of knitting.

Card of the Day - Page of Wands

I am not going to spend much time on the card today. I feel better, but still not 100%. Plus, our cleaning lady is here and she has been talking a lot. So, I am not able to concentrate completely. Also, I am going to pass on the weekly report for last week.

I am getting another Wands card. I guess it’s been about energy and enthusiasm? Page of Wands, bringer of good news. Today I feel it is an attitude of optimism. Seeing the world through a child’s eyes. Everything seems new and fresh. That would be good. I welcome good news too.

Note, 1.23.2007, 6:57pm. I did hear some great news yesterday. One especially huge, and it made me rethink my work situation. A well-known entity is considering buying our core business. It was always a possibility that could happen. But I never entertained that scenario seriously. But I am wondering. What will happen to most of the employees if that happens? I think a lot of people will be let go. Good thing that most of us have stock options. With a well-known name they will worth a lot more, right? Let’s hope so.
