Card of the Day – Queen of Wands Reversed

21 Jan

I am not feeling very good this morning. Either that I am getting sick or just need some coffee. Hopefully it is not influencing the reading.

Queen of Wands is passionate, kind, generous. She is a happy person and ready to cheer you up when you are down. What can a reversed Queen of Wands be? Selfish? Hot temper? I was drawn to the multiple suns on her skirt. She may burn you instead of nurturing you?

Maybe I should go back to bed. ha ha Time for coffee.

Note, 1.22.07, 10:32am, Well, the only memorable event yesterday was that I got sick, and my partner got sick (he was away with a trade show.) I ended up with a fever that caused chills no matter how I tried to keep warm. What does this have anything to do with the Queen of Wands reversed? I don’t know. Only the word “burn” makes sense in this case. But is that stretching it a bit? Any comment?

Three-card Saturday

20 Jan

The Chariot, The Moon Reversed, Ten of Wands Reversed

Two major cards. Must be an important week. The Chariot. One time it showed up reversed and my partner had a minor car accident that day. But I do not feel it is about cars today. The Chariot represents perfect balance. A corporation between opposite forces. The chariot is pulled by two unicorns. One black, one white. They are almost completely different except they both have green eyes. They work together to bring progress and growth. Yes, the green eyes remind me of growth. The charioteer also wears a green jewel on the forehead which gives off illumination. With balance and corporation things can make good progress. He is under a canopy of stars. They are looking after him. The Chariot leaves the dust behind. There is clarity. That’s kind of a continuation of Knight of Wands from last week. But this has a larger influence.

The Moon reversed. This works well with The Chariot. The Moon represents mystery, inner desire, instincts. When the moon is high, the wild instinct gets restless. It can get out of control if one’s not careful. With The Moon reversed, truth is revealing, things become orderly. Works well with The Chariot, don’t you think? Clarity is coming. I really need that.

Ten of Wands reversed, unloading of burden. Will this mean that projects finished, or someone else helping me? In any case, passing some of the wands to someone or dropping them off at their destinations is a good thing. As long as there is care and not just simply losing them.

While doing one last shuffle before putting the cards away, Seven of Swords and The Magician Reversed popped out. Is this a warning against someone? The bad Magician?

Card of the Day – Seven of Pentacles

19 Jan

Not that I don’t like to see Seven of Pentacles. I do. It’s quite an exciting card to see for me. But I am just surprised. This week has been weird. I don’t feel so connected with the messages. I am either really off or not paying attention. I need to keep up with the meditation practice, that’s for sure.

This card shows “hard work bearing fruits.” The work is not done yet. The man is still wearing his work gloves and holding his tool. But he’s taking a second to admire the fruits that are forming on the vines. The result of his hard work can already be seen. And they look wonderful.

It is going to be interesting working on this week’s report.

Card of the Day – King of Wands Reversed

18 Jan

I hope this doesn’t mean that my partner won’t be having a good day at the show today. But of course, this can be my own experience here.

At first I thought maybe the reversed King of Wands could mean a lack of energy or enthusiasm. But that didn’t fit. The reversed Knight would represent that department. I ask myself, “what a self-assured person gone bad is like?” Someone who is full of it, that’s what. They think so much of themselves that they become arrogant. The fire energy is off balanced in this King and he can be short-tempered.

Card of the Day – Three of Cups

17 Jan

Huh. Now this is totally unexpected. I really have not clue why it’s showing up. Three of Cups shows three dancers in a dance of celebration. It is a celebration of the arts. Good fortune. Good work. It can represent entertainment. A period of fun activities. It’s also a card of party. The sky is blue and cloudless. There’s a sense of freedom. A celebration of job well done.

I really like to see how this manifests today. Or maybe I am just off? I have been feeling that this week.

Oh, I also got a glimpse of Six of Swords Reversed. Now, that doesn’t go with Three of Cups. I wonder. I do feel like Six of Swords Reversed is more correct. Unable to move forward is how I feel right now. I am ready for the energy of the Knight of Wands.
