Lack of charity? Yikes! I am not sure what this is about. Where will I stand in this situation? I checked the book and it mentioned that a loan maybe due. I’ll check my statements. 
Here’s an interesting bit. I have been giving small loans on Kiva.org. I was notified that two repayments were made this morning. Not sure if this is it though. Just maybe.
On Robin Wood’s card, the giver’s coat shows a pattern of grapes with golden background. Each pattern repeat has four bunches of grapes. The golden background actually looks like four pentacles to me. Four of Pentacles shows a miser. One who holds onto his/her wealth tightly. Could this person on the Six of Pentacles be the miser who finally finds compassion in his heart, and is now willing to share the wealth? He still has an careful eye on the money though. He holds a golden scale in his left hand. He doesn’t just give out money without consideration.
So, the reversed Six of Pentacles can possibly mean that the person is withdrawing back into being a miser. But I hope it’s not the case for today. That’s not very Buddhist-like.
Note, 11:04am, almost forgot to mention. The Devil Reversed and The Temperance popped out while shuffling. Hmmm… not feeling charitable is probably not it for today.
Note, 10.27.2007, 7:49am, wow, I almost forgot to go to the bank to get cash to make donations at the temple on Sunday. I needed A LOT of singles that the ATM couldn’t offer. Maybe the card was giving me a warning.
