Card of the Day – Seven of Cups Reversed

24 Oct

Seven of Cups

I am thinking, “less daydreaming and more work done!” :-) It is true. I’ve done a lot of putzing around this week. I should take a look at my to-do list and not just making up wish list.

Note, 10.25.2007, 11:20am, sometimes things just come up and that leaves no time for daydreaming.

Card of the Day – Six of Wands

22 Oct

Six of Wands

Huh! Guess I don’t think about reading on weekends. Another one went by without me drawing any card.

Six of Wands. Victory march. Success in display. It’s not purely for show. The joy of victory is shared by all. Little flowers of yellow and red (joy and courage) are scattered by children. On Robin Wood’s card, other than the victorious rider, only children are visible. The joy and happiness are pure. The rider’s horse is pure white and barely covered with anything. (Very different than the picture shown.) There’s nothing hidden underneath this feeling of success and joy. The sky is cloudless.

What a nice card for Monday. :-)

Note, 10-24-2007, 11:10am, I realized later that evening that my little victory was the completion of my knitted scarf. I started knitting it a year ago and never had a real motivation to finish it. Well, it got done Monday evening. :-)

Card of the Day – Seven of Cups

19 Oct

Seven of Cups

Seven of Cups. Well, it is Friday. Hard to not thinking about all the things that I want to do over the weekend.

Head in the clouds. The seven cups are filled with different things. Different desires. Different distractions. It’s hard to choose which one to take, so they all remain on the mind level and not in the physical. It is going to be difficult to accomplish anything today. But I’ll try to concentrate. :-)

It’s Friday after all.

Card of the Day – Eight of Wands Reversed

18 Oct

Eight of Wands

Huh! The Eight of Wands sure makes a lot of appearances lately. There are so many things going on, especially work. Many different projects that don’t necessary go together. That makes it more difficult to have a good focus on anything. Today will be one of those difficult days I guess. Things a little upside down and maybe going backwards instead. The number of wands seem significant today. I don’t mean the number 8, but the large number of them. The multitude of projects will probably make progress sluggish. The forces that I saw with The Chariot yesterday are not looking to work in harmony today. Oh well. I’ll make it work as best as I can. I’ll be extra careful not to get overwhelmed.

Card of the Day – The Chariot

17 Oct

The Chariot

This is a great card for progress. And as a Major card, its influence goes beyond one day. I am looking forward to moving things along.

With this card, the opposite forces work together. It is strange, today is the first time that I actually feel the two forces not liking each other much. But they recognize the benefits of working together. In fact, they actually balance each other, compliment each other. Each one brings in something that the other doesn’t have. Whatever that clouds the situation is left behind. This shows clearly on Robin Wood’s card. Only clarity ahead. The Charioteer sings. It’s going so smooth that he sings. His song is forceful. Keeping things in rhythm. The chariot is covered with a star-filled canopy. The stars are shining down on him.
