Change of Game Plan

Hard to get this exercise going in a consistent manner! I think it’s too difficult to try to do this in the morning. Lately I’ve been waking up thinking about what to do, for my design projects, for the gallery. I think it’s probably best to do this at night before going to bed. It’s usually quiet in the evening, perfect for reading cards. Except last night. They were filming something with loud bangs. Probably some kind of gunfight. Downtown living is exciting!

Ice Storm

Hi M. Again, didn’t get to do a reading today. Must be the fast approaching holidays. I seem to be doing one thing after another. Mostly work. Bummer.

I am beginning to think that you are without power. The morning news was all about the ice storms. Are you doing OK there? I hope the Two of Wands Reversed is not about your wait for the power to be turned back on. That would be EEK!

I Couldn’t Post On My Own Blog…

I was locked out of my own blog earlier this morning. I was accused of spamming by an anti-spam plugin implemented by ME. I composed a post on my daily reading, clicked Publish and got an error page. I was forbidden to access MY blog. It turned out that the plugin needed an update. Something happened on the provider end. It’s all good now.

Sorry M. No reading for you again today. I did draw a card for me before I was rudely locked out. I got King of Wands Reversed. The King is now upstairs napping. He’s not feeling good today, and I know better to bother him today.

Sorry M and E. No cards today. We got home so late after the b-day party last night that I just had to go straight to bed. I did say that weekends are not guaranteed, right? I will do cards this evening. But now I must take a little nap. Don’t know why I have been so tired.

No Card of the Day

I am feeling sicker today than yesterday. So, not up to drawing a card. I do want to jot down a note about yesterday’s The Star Reversed. When thinking of the star, I pictured Robin Wood’s Six of Swords in my mind. She incorporated The Star in the artwork. It shines like a light at the end of the tunnel inside a dark cave. So my feeling was that it was a delayed success. I was still on the journey.

Unlike a flame that can go out, the star always shines. It may be covered by clouds, the view obstructed. But if you continue the effort, you will see its light eventually because it never goes out. It is wish fulfilling. Even if you can see it right away, the success will be yours if you persist in your efforts.

The energy of the Reversed Star influenced both work and health yesterday. The work situation has been long and unclear. CB went to the main office for two days. One of his goals was to get clarifications of how to move on that will effect where we will live. But he did not get any resolution. So the situation remains unclear. But the star stays bright and gives hope to the future.

A New Start

I have an urge to continue my tarot journey. With my Mom’s passing and the recent job changes, I was too preoccupied to remember my tarot learning. Things are settling down. I’ll restart in a couple of days.

Well, that didn’t last long. I think weekly reviews are not going to work for me. It’s better for me to do updates day to day to keep the info fresh. If I do one weekly, I start procrastinate until I don’t feel like recalling the details of events.
