Ace of Wands, Nine of Swords

Ace of Wands, a surge of creative energy. New project, new creation, new idea. What are you working on today? :-)

Nine of Swords, over-powering worries, nightmares, can’t sleep. Are you worried about something? Do you go over the situation repeatedly in your head, making yourself restless? Hope not. While shuffling, Ten of Swords and Eight of Wands Reversed popped out. Has some issue gone to the very rock bottom? And it’s not resolving fast enough? Hope not. Maybe a new project can take your mind off if something really is bothering you.

Page of Cups, King of Swords Reversed

Court cards!! And no Pentacles. I’d like to see some good Pentacles cards, please! : sigh : Page of Cups, a stirring of the imagination, new artistic idea. An inspiring day. The King of Swords reversed is another story. Brute force, cruelty, unfairness. I think I know who the King is. Have to tell CB to avoid him today.

While shuffling, Four of Wands popped out. Something is accomplished. A time to rejoice and relax. Oh, I think this is a client’s web project.

Note, 3:23pm, Page of Cups maybe a great idea coming from CB’s rector. An opportunity that will definitely involve design. If it becomes a reality, it may involve other churches in the States. Interesting, Cups seem to be the more spiritual suite. And here we are talking about doing things with churches.

M’s Cards for Friday 12.21.2007

20 Dec

Oh yes. You read that right. Cards. Let’s make this more interesting. It is time to understand better the relationships between cards. My thinking is to do two cards instead of one. The first card is the situation, significant event. The second card is clarification, reason, cause. Actually, it maybe easier with two cards than with just one.

Four of Pentacles Reversed, Queen of Swords

Four of Pentacles Reversed is interesting because what I get from it is very different than how others describe it. So M, you will have to let me know if you think it means something in particular. Four of Pentacles shows a wealthy man holding on to his fortune tightly. He surrounds himself with thick walls for protection. But those walls also separate him from the world outside. And the world outside is a bright and cheerful place. He doesn’t see that. He doesn’t see that his world is within is quite gray. In reversed I think it is of a letting go of the tight control of one’s fortune. Being less of a miser.

Queen of Swords is a woman that values logic over emotion. She has been through enough to know what is needed to be done. And she is ready to go to war to make things right if she has to. She represents transformation. A better day ahead after the storms.

This pair may indicate a need to spend money. It may feel uneasy letting go. But it will actually pave the way for a better future. This is a logical decision to move beyond what’s even more stressful. Maybe even going against one’s nature.

I actually started this reading earlier, but couldn’t finish before heading out to a Christmas gathering.

Card of the Day – Four of Swords Reversed

12 Dec

Four of Swords

Hmmm… I don’t know. This card keeps showing up in my readings. This tells me that there will be a lack of inner peace. Especially when The Strength popped out reversed during shuffling. There maybe a lot of work. But I need to watch out for that inner balance. No sense letting both the mind and the body go unbalanced.

Card of the Day – Four of Swords

10 Dec

Four of Swords

My turn to rest? I have a strong feeling that this has nothing to do with physically resting at all. (Which is probably true in most cases that involves Four of Swords.) This is a recommendation to stop the activity of worrying, and to know that hope it there. The shining Star in the picture may seem distant. That just means that it will take a little more time for positive result to arrive.

:: Yawn :: I am actually quite sleepy right now.
