It gives a sense of relief to see this card appearing in the reversed position. In its upright position it shows overwhelming responsibilities, taking on more than one can handle, making it hard to see the goal. Reversed it can mean relief of stress, unloading the burden. I take it that it will be a more relaxing Saturday for me. I can use some news to relieve some stress, too! :-)

I’ve taken the cards out once again. I am trying a different routine, consulting the cards in the evening for the next day, giving myself more time to be more relaxed. So, this is for tomorrow. Although it kinda feel like today. We’ll see.

Queen of Wands reversed. A jealous woman who imposes her will on other people, self-centered, overbearing. Not exactly what I want to deal with, but unfortunately it has been happening for a while now.

Ace of Wands and The Hierophant. I am a little stuck on The Hierophant, and I will explain later when I have more time. Hmm… I sure am getting a lot of major cards! What’s up?

Today I have Five of Wands Reversed and Four of Cups. Yes, I decided to go back to 2-card readings. This time I designate the first card to the theme/vibe of the day, and the second card to influences that can help or hinder for the day. So, it seems that today I might let the things overwhelm me and lose clarity. I have an inkling what that is. There is one major project that I need to do today, and it does involve many different components. I need to keep focus and not end up withdrawing into myself feeling sorry about what I might not accomplish today. Look at the bigger picture. There are accomplishments to be proud of and to encourage oneself to stay focused.

Added 4:08pm – OK, so I really underestimated the time I needed for this project, a website using CMS. Kind of regret losing some valuable time in the beginning of the project. Take a deep breath. There’s still a week before deadline. Even if I can’t present something today, I still have time. Breathe. But I do feel like kicking myself!

I am back! Wow! My day off was 3 days long. Today I have Eight of Wands. Full speed ahead! Fast pace into the future. Lots of energy and creativity. There’s no lack of clarity in this fast paced day!

First day back on the Tarot Journey I got Ten of Wands. This shows very well the way I’ve been “feeling” lately. OK, focusing on what it’s saying for just today, it might mean overwhelming variety of tasks to do at my sister’s office, which is not unusual. She really is the kind that hand out tasks without planning, and can make one just dig in and work with whatever she has in mind at that time without any plans.

The man on the card seems extra lonely today, these are tasks that seemingly only one man can handle. Seemingly. It would be good to stop, put down the tasks for a moment, look at the goal, come up with a plan and maybe delegate some to others to work with.

Two of Wands, Eight of Cups

Hey. Looking good today. But I have to tell you that my mind wasn’t quite focused on just you, M. So, this can be anything. But that’s no news, right?

Two of Wands, a good grasp on one’s situation. Well prepared, security. Positive, reasonable result can be expected. Once again there is balance, and growth can happen. Eight of Cups, journey into the mysteries. It’s not into the total unknown. The goal is enlightenment. Just that the road is not completely clear. This card is about leaving behind what’s established, which is somehow lacking, incomplete. There’s an urge to move on, to go to what’s meaningful. It’s a journey of courage.

Six of Wands reversed, no victory march. A project that you expect to be finished is delayed. Ten of Cups reversed, disharmony, family disagreement. In the book it says rebellious behavior from children. Oh boy. Both cards do feature children in the pictures. Childlike happiness maybe replaced with childish behavior. I know what day it is today. I hope it goes well, M.

Well, I won’t be surprised if it is my family that’s having problems. Ha!

Oh brother! Can I say that this doesn’t look like a good day? I do not want to deal with a Queen of Wands teversed. Not a person I need to face right now. Super ambitious and willing to do anything to achieve her goals. Selfish and jealous. Inside her there’s a dark fire burning. She does not shy away from telling lies.

Three of Wands reversed, boats not coming in. Actually, maybe watching the boats sailing away, leaving a great disappointment. :: sigh ::
