Three of Cups Reversed, Three of Pentacles

Three of Cups, a party card, a celebration of  the arts. My immediate feeling when I saw the reversed card was, “no cause for celebration”. Which has been true for a while. But the meaning in the book indicates excess, addiction, wallowing in emotions. Which can also be true. There is a need to get out of the emotional rut.

Three of Pentacles, master craftsman, putting talent to good use. Sounds good to me. Can this mean work? Or maybe craft? I sure like seeing Pentacles though.

Six of Swords Reversed, Knight of Cups

Six of Swords reversed, unable to leave trouble behind. Unable to resolve the problem. Knight of Cups shows up just in time to offer emotional support. Someone who’s not afraid to offer his love. His caring may offer a relief from worries of things not progressing fast enough.

Page of Cups, King of Swords Reversed

Court cards!! And no Pentacles. I’d like to see some good Pentacles cards, please! : sigh : Page of Cups, a stirring of the imagination, new artistic idea. An inspiring day. The King of Swords reversed is another story. Brute force, cruelty, unfairness. I think I know who the King is. Have to tell CB to avoid him today.

While shuffling, Four of Wands popped out. Something is accomplished. A time to rejoice and relax. Oh, I think this is a client’s web project.

Note, 3:23pm, Page of Cups maybe a great idea coming from CB’s rector. An opportunity that will definitely involve design. If it becomes a reality, it may involve other churches in the States. Interesting, Cups seem to be the more spiritual suite. And here we are talking about doing things with churches.

Four of Cups Reversed, King of Cups Reversed

Sounds like a emotional day. Not sure how to take this. Four of Cups reversed shows an awareness to assistance that was ignored before. This is good. Instead of feeling unsatisfied over things already tarnished, things passed their prime, there’s a reaching out to others, to offers of help.

In the case  of King of Cups reversed, it shows insecurity, emotional turbulence. Possibility of someone playing on another’s feelings. Deception. How do these two cards play together??? Beware of offers that sound too good to be true?

Card of the Day – Nine of Cups Reversed

30 Nov

Nine of Cups

Not liking this at all. A reversed wish card. Not getting one’s wish. Can mean overindulgence. Self-centeredness. Seems to be connected to The Devil? There’s a need to inspect what’s necessary and what’s not. What’s real and what’s only a dream.

Nine of Pentacles Reversed jumped out during shuffling. Yeah, yeah. I already know that I will be letting go a big chunk of my savings to pay for the vet’s bill when we go pick up our dog.

Note, 12.2.2007, 4:47pm, Friday was an expensive day. We sent our dog to the vet to have his years checked for infection, and grooming after. Later, the doctor talked to us about a lump on his leg. So we gave him the OK to do a biopsy. Altogether I spent nearly $500. I remember that one of the reversed meaning for Nine of Pentacles is “problem with pet.” Hopefully the test result will show only fatty tissue, and we will just have to give Tristan more exercise!

I had something to say about the Nine of Cups Reversed, too. But I just can’t remember what. :: sigh :: But look! Both are Nine cards. I’ll have to check what significance that has.

Note, 12.4.2007, 10:15am, doggie’s lump turned out to be a cyst. Nothing to worry about at this time. Just have to see if it grows bigger.
