M’s Cards, Wednesday, 06.18.2008

Five of Cups Reversed, Three of Cups Reversed

Hmmm… Maybe I have locked-in on you, now? I did take care of a few things yesterday and now feel less weight on my shoulders. Only temporary solutions. But should be OK for a few weeks.

Five of Cups reversed, end of grieving what was lost. Picking up what’s left and moving on. Realizing that all is not lost. Obsessing over what’s lost doesn’t do any good. Moving on. Three of Cups, no reason to celebrate. This card is associated with art, music and craft. A good party after success. But it’s reversed. You feel no reason to celebrate.

All Cups today. Watch the emotions. :-)

M’s Card for Sunday 11.18.2007

17 Nov

Five of Pentacles Reversed

Five of Pentacles

Five of Pentacles represents misery. People who are down and out. People who are depressed. The image shows beggars who are kept out in the cold. They are right in front of a great building with light shining through a beautiful stained glass window. Yet, they cannot get in to seek shelter. They don’t even look inside anymore because they’ve lost faith in anyone coming out to help them.

In the reversed position, hope enters the heart. Faith is restored. Out of the dark and into the light. Things are looking better!

Card of the Day – Five of Swords Reversed

10 Oct

Five of Swords

Does this have anything to do with yesterday’s card? Five of Swords. The image shows a person taking control of all the swords. He got them through trickery. He taunts the others, making a display that he is better than the others, even though he really isn’t. It was all done with tricks. It just makes him feel good to shame the others. Not very nice.

I see a person grabbing on to powers, thinking that they are above others. Not because it was true. But because they were in a position to do whatever they wanted. In a reversed position, maybe they are having second thoughts. On the Robin Wood card, the trickster wears dark gray of smoke, but red underneath. Robin Wood calls it ‘smoke and fire’. But today I see red of courage. Maybe the trickster is realizing the wrong-doing? And there’s courage to correct the mistake?

Card of the Day – Five of Cups

29 Sep

Five of Cups

Grieving what’s lost. Not picking up the pieces. Unable or not wanting to move beyond the grief. There is a choice to move toward freedom. Freedom from all this suffering and stress. But the individual is so attached to what’s lost that he just can’t see anything else.

This doesn’t make sense at the moment. Although CB went to a funeral this morning, but I am not so sure this points to that. Oh well. It’s only my first day back at reading the cards. :-)

Card of the Day – Five of Swords

11 Apr

The man on the card smirks. He just defeated two opponents, winning their swords even though he already possessed three. He does this not out of necessity. But out of greed, and maybe just to win. He carries two swords on his shoulder. Little does he know that there will be consequences for his bad behavior. Swords can represent strife. The swords he carries may become a stressful burden to him. Storm clouds gather in the sky. This kind of situation brings no peace and happiness.
